Bishop Stopford students celebrate Oxbridge success
Bishop Stopford School in Kettering is delighted that five students have received offers from the universities of Oxford or Cambridge this term.
After months of dedication in preparing for admissions exams and interviews, their hard work has paid off.
Rosie Hainsworth, the school’s excellence and ambition co-ordinator, said: “These offers really celebrate their incredible attitudes to academic study, their passion for their subjects and the potential which Oxbridge has seen in them.”
This year’s successful applicants are Tom Rochester (History, Oxford), Tabitha Fray (Veterinary Medicine, Cambridge), Leila Abdul-Salam (Law and Italian Law, Oxford), Atharva Kulkarni (Medicine, Cambridge) and ex-student Emily Malby-Smith (Education, Cambridge).
