Police are appealing for information as they investigate the blaze

Police are appealing for witnesses after arsonists set fire to three cars in Wellingborough.

The arson attack took place in Rutherford Drive at about 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday).

A police spokesman said: "This involved three cars being set alight deliberately.

"One of the cars was a yellow Fiat Punto.

"It’s unknown at the moment what the other two cars are.

"We are looking into the circumstances and anyone with information should call us."

Anyone with information about the arson attack can call police on 101.
