80s daytime disco and Elvis tribute night at Corby's Grampian Club this weekend

Corby’s Grampian Club is hosting not one but two events this weekend which are sure to get you up on the dancefloor.

The club is hosting another 80s daytime disco on Saturday (November 22) from 2pm until 7pm.

Music will be provided by Nick Galway, a DJ known for his legendary local 80s nights, complete with a fantastic light show and dazzling display that’ll transport you straight back to the 80s.

Think neon, think leg warmers, think 80s classics blasting all afternoon – and there is also a best 80s outfit competition so come dressed to impress.

And once the 80s day disco is done, the club will be gearing up for its Elvis tribute night with Beau Bakewell, the 16-year-old singing sensation taking the Elvis world by storm in the main hall.

Protégé of Adam Whitmee, Beau brings the 1950s era and movie years of Elvis to life with incredible vocals, style and charisma that’ll have you all shook up.

The evening line-up for Saturday (November 22) will be the warm-up disco from 8pm to 9pm, Beau Bakewell live as Elvis from 9pm to 11pm and then the after-show disco from 11pm to 11.30pm.

Entry is free for members and £5 on the door for non-members.

Daytime disco attendees can get in free for the Elvis tribute night event.

A spokesman for the Grampian Club said: “Don’t miss this unforgettable night of nostalgia, music and moves — celebrating The King in true Grampian style.”
