Pedestrian hospitalised after collision in Northampton town centre

Wellingborough Road in Northampton town centre was partially blocked off at around 5pm yesterday evening (February 25) after a collision between a pedestrian and a car.

The collision was between a white Toyota Prius and a pedestrian outside the Jeckyll and Hyde Pub.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "The pedestrian was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing."

Wellingborough Road was partially blocked off for around an hour, causing slow traffic but the incident has since been cleared.
