A Northamptonshire man has died after his motorbike crashed near Graffham Water in Cambridgeshire yesterday (Sunday).

A Wellingborough man has died his motorbike crashed near Graffham Water in Cambridgeshire yesterday (Sunday).

Ben Daniells, 26, of Raunds Road, Chelveston, was riding a blue Honda Hornet motorbike at about 1.20pm close to Mill View in Great Staughton on the B645.

He was travelling east when he collided with a silver Renault van travelling in the opposite direction and suffered fatal injuries.

The driver of the van, an 86-year-old man from Perry, Cambs, was uninjured.

PC James Thorne, investigating, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the motorcyclist, who was riding with another bike at the time, in the moments leading up to the collision.

“Any information, no matter how small, could prove vital in establishing what happened.”
