Artist John Atkin, who is renowned for working on sculptures across the world, will create the artwork.

Corby residents are being invited to have their say on it, and a consultation is now under way.

It runs until Saturday, February 6, in the reception area at The Corby Cube, George Street, Corby.

The consultation will allow residents to choose the final piece which will take pride of place in the Corby Railway Station later this year.

Corby Council Lead Member for Community Cllr John McGhee said: “We are very excited to see Corby Railway Station’s brand new feature come to life and I am particularly pleased that the people of Corby get to vote for what they would like to see and what they think would bring some more character to the station.

“Residents’ views are what is most important to us so I hope that lots of people will drop by and place their vote.”

More information about the sculptures and the artist will also be available at the Cube.
