More than 200 crimes in Kettering's rural districts so far this year
Statistics revealed ahead of a council meeting this Thursday (July 21) show crime figures for Slade, Welland and the Queen Eleanor and Buccleuch wards this year.
Slade, which incorporates villages to the south and west of Kettering such as Pytchley, saw the most crime with 131 incidents.

Hide AdOf these crimes, there were 12 occasions of violence with injury and in April there were four ‘vehicle interference’ offences.
There has also been once incident of drug trafficking and one incident of arson this year.
Queen Eleanor and Buccleuch, home to villages such as Weekley and Warkton, has seen 46 crimes this year.
Non-domestic burglary is the most common offence with 11, while there have been seven incidents of criminal damage.

Hide AdThe rural district with the fewest crimes so far is Welland to the north of the borough, home to villages such as Stoke Albany and Wilbarston.
Welland has seen 37 crimes so far this year, with one count of drug trafficking and one sexual offence.
The most common offence was non-domestic burglary, with nine incidents.
