Man suffers multiple injuries in Corby machete attack

Police have released further details surrounding a machete attack which took place in Corby earlier this month.

The victim met a friend at an address in Leighton Road, on Thursday, February 4, at some point between 2pm and 3.30pm when an unknown man attacked him with a machete.

The victim suffered head, arm, hand and leg injuries and required medical treatment, although the injuries were not life threatening.

The Northants Telegraph covered the assault at the time but further details have only just been released by police.

Witnesses from the Leighton Court and Leonardo Court area may have seen the fight and are being urged by officers to contact the police on 101.
