Man suffers facial injuries after being attacked by group of eight thugs in Kettering

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a gang of eight people in Kettering on Christmas Day.

The incident took place in Almond Road some time between 10.15pm and 10.50pm on December 25, with police only just releasing the details.

The victim was walking along Almond Road when one of the members of the gang shouted “what are you looking at?”

He was then repeatedly punched and kicked by the offenders, who then walked off.

The victim suffered facial injuries.

The gang is believed to have been around eight people, both male and female.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
