A man was taken to hospital in Birmingham with burns after last night's fire at a vineyard near Northampton.

Fire crews from Mereway and Moulton tackled the blaze at the Brynne Vineyard near Brixworth at around 9pm on Sunday night.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "Northants Fire & Rescue were called after a summerhouse and a tractor caught fire at Brynne Vineyard, off the A508 Brixworth bypass.

"One man was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham by land ambulance with burns although his injuries are not believed to be not life threatening or life changing.

"The Fire investigation team are on the scene on Monday morning in an effort to ascertain how the fire happened."
