Man punched repeatedly in the face by a woman in brutal assault outside block of flats in Northampton

A second man, who was with the woman, stopped her and they left the area

A man was assaulted by a woman outside a block of flats in Honister Green, Northampton

The assault took place between 7.45pm and 8.15pm on Sunday, April 11 at the corner of the block of flats in view of a large open park space. The victim was punched by a woman several times in the face before a second man, who was with the woman, intervened and they both left the area.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "The offender is described as a white woman in her 40s, five foot and 10 inches, of a medium build with long blonde hair. She was wearing black trousers and a black coloured jumper.

Police are investigating after a man was attacked by a woman in Honister Green.

"The assault took place at the corner of the block of flats in view of a large open park space, and officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault."
