Man arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after Corby crash leaves passenger seriously injured

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash in Corby which left the passenger with serious injuries.

The collision happened at about 5.30am yesterday (Sunday) when a silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a parked car in Gainsborough Road.

The suspected driver of the car, a 21-year-old man from Corby, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving without appropriate insurance. He has been released on police bail.

A third person is believed to have been seen leaving the scene.
