Lorry crash shuts A509 between Wellingborough and Kettering until 6pm Wednesday

The main road between Wellingborough and Kettering will be closed until 6pm on Wednesday following a three-vehicle crash early this morning.

A DAF truck shed its load in the incident on the A509 Harrowden Road and Northamptonshire Police say it will take hours to clear up the mess.

The A509 remains closed between Little Harrowden and Isham.

A Ford Transit van and Vauxhall Corsa were also involved, although there are no reports of any injuries.

Firefighters from Wellingborough and Burton Latimer were called to the scene at just after 9am.
