Literacy charity appeals for volunteers across Northamptonshire to get children reading
The volunteers would provide much-needed one-to-one reading support to local children, adding to the help given to 510 children last year.

Hide AdEach helper would support three children and see each child for two 30-minute sessions per week across three terms.
Area manager for Northamptonshire Greg Yarnall said: “Sadly, far too many children in Northamptonshire primary schools are struggling in school due to reading difficulties.
“The start of the school year is the perfect time to change this and for people to make a real, long-lasting difference to a child in their local community.
