Last chance to sign up to Sport Relief's '˜Corby Mile'

Corby Council is urging people sign up to the '˜Corby Mile' in aid of Sport Relief with just a few days left until the event.

Participants are asked to arrive for 11am, and everyone is welcome to run, skip, jump or even hop to the finish line over a distance of one mile, three miles or six miles.

Anyone who signs up will take part in a mass warm-up from 11.45am led by local sports clubs and will also receive a goody bag at the finishing line for taking part.

There will also be a performance from the Steel Spirit Cheerleaders to get everyone ready and raring to go.

Taking part costs £7 for adults, £3 for children aged 16 and under, or £17 for two adults and two children, with participants able to sign up on the day.
