
Data provided by the Home Office highlighted the number of cases of murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to murder in the 12 months leading up to September 2015.
The figures show how many murderous crimes there have been in the area and how many crimes there have been per 100,000 people there.
According to the data East Northamptonshire is the county’s worst offending area with five murderous crimes, or 5.6 per 100,000 people, coming in at number 11 nationally.
Kettering also makes the top 20 at 15, with five murderous crimes, or 5.2 per 100,000 people.

Topping the list was Boston in Lincolnshire with 10 murderous crimes, or 15 per 100,000 inhabitants.
