Warren James has applied to open a store in the Willow Place Shopping Centre, in a unit last open as Yours Clothing.

The ground floor of the unit will be split into three, with Warren James taking on the middle unit.

The takers of the other units have not been made public yet, alhough it’s understood one will be a foreign currency exchange.

A planning document said: “The shop will remain for purely retail use.

“The new store will immediately provide a minimum of eight permanent local jobs.

“It is intended that this will increase if successful, and seasonal additional staff may also be added.”

Warren James currently has 215 stores in the country, with the closest to Corby in Kettering (Newlands Shopping Centre) and Wellingborough (Swansgate Centre).

It sells a variety of rings, earrings, necklaces and pendants, bracelets and bangles, chains and a Swarovski range among others.
