Have you seen suspicious curly-haired man in Rushden?

Officers issued a description of a man they would like to trace, following suspicious activity they believe may be linked to a number of burglaries in the town.

A number of residents have reported a knocking on their door and asked directions to other streets.

Police believe he may have been checking to see if anyone was at home.

The man is described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in, with a thin build, between 18 and 25 years old.

He has pale skin, blue eyes and untidy-looking, dark curly hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top.

He has been seen with two or three companions who have been waiting nearby in a white Seat Leon.

Anyone who recognises the description of the man, or who witnesses any similar suspicious activity or has any information about it, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
