George North the star turn at Northampton Saints media day
George North made an instant impression on his new fans at Saints’ media day at Stowe on Thursday afternoon.
The Wales wing interrupted press duties after cries of ‘we love George North’ from the assembled youngsters and proceeded to sign a number of autographs.
And the 21-year-old, who starred for the British & Irish Lions in their series win in Australia during the summer, even gave away his boots to some adoring supporters.
North and his fellow Saints were at Stowe for the Monarch Rugby Academy experience, with the squad giving coaching sessions to aspiring players.
