The charity say 50,000 young people are currently involved in gangs and county lines, which is where a network of people transport drugs from bigger cities to smaller towns and rural areas.

The session will cover how to identify drug-using behaviour, how to talk to children about drugs, and how to help children make drug-free choices.

Hope UK said 50 per cent of young people would not talk to their parents about drugs.

The charity has trained drug educators who work in schools, colleges and youth clubs to educate children.

The issue of children involved in drug dealing has grown in recent years, with Hope UK reporting that convictions of young people aged 10-17 for Class A drug possession with intent to supply has increased by 77 per cent since 2012.
