Blue Watch Wellingborough and their colleagues from Moulton were called to remove the sign at The Volunteer pub in Midland Road, Wellingborough, after the unsteady sign threatened to fall into the street.

The call-out came at 1.12pm on Friday.

The crews cordoned off the area before using an aerial appliance to safely remove the sign and lower it to the ground.
