Fire and police attending blaze at Corby Chinese restaurant

The emergency services are at a fire at Mr Choi's Cantonese and Peking Cuisine in the parade of shops in Rockingham Road, Corby.

Three fire appliances from Corby and Desborough were called, along with police vehicles, are in attendance at the scene.

A statement from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue said that the brigade were called out at about 11.50am to a fire that appears to have originated from one of the cookers.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be accidental and it is not thought there were any injuries.

The incident is ongoing.
