Everything you need to know about Corby's new M&S foodhall opening tomorrow
Shoppers will finally be able to see what's in the aisles of their new M&S foodhall when it opens tomorrow (Wednesday).
M&S Corby is opening its doors at unit five on Phoenix Retail Park in Courier Road, Corby, tomorrow morning.
The new shop will be officially opened by store manager Caroline Hemming and the mayor of Corby Cllr Julie Riley, who will be cutting the ribbon at 10am.
Caroline and her team of 63 staff have been working hard in preparation for the opening of the eagerly-awaited store.
And more than 98 people have been working on-site to get the 7,700 sq ft shop ready.
Once its doors open, shoppers will be able to choose from more than 6,000 food and drink lines, including many of M&S’s festive favourites.
It will take about seven articulated lorries to fill the store with products and more than 7,200 trays of fresh products will have been delivered in the week leading up to the opening.
The store will stock 578 wines from 14 countries across the world and the Christmas range of food contains 250 seasonal lines.
It’s bakery will produce 12,200 bread products and 18,500 patisseries in the first month.
After tomorrow’s official opening at 10am, the M&S foodhall will be open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
