Woodford's Open Gardens event goes online

Beautiful gardens in the village of Woodford will still go on show this year after a popular event was moved online.

For the last 15 years residents in the village near Thrapston have held an Open Gardens bank holiday weekend to raise money for charity.

But this year the event can't be held because of coronavirus restrictions, so it's gone online so people can visit the gardens 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Gardeners are posting pictures of their gardens as the spring and summer progress so there is a constant stream of updated photos.

This year they are raising money for the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Urgent Appeal.
