Council bin collection bosses have reassured Corby residents that their bin collection days will remain the same over the bank holiday.

Despite the change from the district to town and unitary councils that takes place tomorrow (Thursday, April 1) and the Easter break, the council refuse service will remain unaltered.

The joint service currently run by Corby and Kettering Councils will be transferred to the new North Northamptonshire Council (NNC).
