Driver charged with causing death of pensioner pedestrian in Wellingborough smash

A BMW driver has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal smash in Wellingborough.

Isiah Pink, of Earls Barton Road, Mears Ashby, is accused of causing the death of Lovaine Donaldson in Sywell Road on Wednesday, January 8, this year.

Mr Donaldson, 74, died on the scene of the crash after being hit by the white BMW 5 series at about 6.20am on the day of the crash.

Pink, 53, will appear before Northampton Magistrates tomorrow (November 2).
