Donations for refugees being collected outside Corby store tonight

Volunteers will be collecting donations of food, toiletries and clothes to help those affected by the refugee crisis.

The collection point will be at Morrisons in Corby

Members of the Corby Stands With Refugees group will be holding a collection in the Morrisons car park in Corby between 6pm and 7.30pm tonight (Tuesday).

The group aims to provide a place for people in Corby to get together and help those affected by the refugee crisis.

They will be collecting food, toiletries, bedding and clothes, which must be clean, bagged and clearly labelled for babies, boys, girls, men and women.

Teddy bears with a message from those donating it to the children who will receive it would also be appreciated.

The collection point will be at the disabled bay near the cashpoint machines where there will be a large black Fiat Lounge vehicle and a woman wearing a high-vis jacket.
