The woman, who was driving a silver Renault Megane, had an argument with a man, who allegedly jumped on to the roof of the car and caused damage to the windscreen.

There were a number of people at the garage and nearby at the time.

A man and a woman were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
