Woman assaulted inside shop in East Northants village

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted inside a shop in High Street, Woodford.

The incident happened on Friday, August 28, at about 4.15pm, when a man assaulted a woman.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and released on bail pending further enquiries.

Witnesses or anyone with any information can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
