Wellingborough man charged with robbery at Rushden Lakes jewellers

A Wellingborough man is in custody after being charged over a robbery at Rushden Lakes.

Anthony Spring, 30, is accused of a robbery at Beaverbrooks at the retail park on November 21.

During the incident two Tag Heuer watches worth about £3,000 were stolen.

Spring, of Doddington Road in Wellingborough, also faces a charge of breaching an order by messaging a woman on Facebook that he was banned from contacting.

Spring was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Northampton Crown Court on January 8 next year.
