Wellingborough drug dealer up to his old tricks

A Wellingborough man has been caught supplying class-A drugs again after he was released from prison.

At just 24, Deon St Vie has now twice been convicted of being a drug dealer in Wellingborough.

St Vie, of Knox Road, was first jailed for nearly four years after he was stopped in a taxi by police in 2023. He was later charged with, and admitted, supplying heroin, cocaine and cannabis.

But after his release from prison, he went back to his old ways.

In July this year he was charged with being concerned in the supply of diamorphine and crack cocaine.

He appeared before Northampton Crown Court last week to be sentenced after he admitted the offences, as well as one of resisting arrest when he wilfully obstructed PC Josh Unsworth in the execution of his duty.

His Honour Judge William Harbage jailed him for 40 months and ordered him to forfeit £3630.43 of drugs money.

He was also ordered to pay a £228 surcharge.
