Violent Wellingborough man jailed yet again after serious assault on drug dealer
A man who has been convicted of multiple gang-related crimes is back behind bars after another violent incident involving a baseball bat and a knife.
Stray, who grew up in Wellingborough but now lives in Vale Street, Kettering, has been using weapons against people since he was a teenager.
Despite serving two lengthy jail terms for gang-related incidents, Stray has failed to learn his lesson and has now been imprisoned again.
The 29-year-old was before Northampton Crown Court for sentence after he admitted the serious assault on Nicolaas Massyn, himself a hardened criminal, in Newcomen Road, Wellingborough, on September 11, 2025.

The court heard he had with him a baseball bat and a knife.
He denied grievous bodily harm with intent but admitted the same charge without intent, which was accepted by the prosecution. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a knife and a baseball bat.
He was imprisoned for 28 months and ordered to pay a £228 surcharge.
Back in 2022, Stray was jailed for six years, ten months, after using a gun to intimidate a couple, again in Newcomen Road. During that case, the court heard how he banged on their window with a gun before they were able to get away.
Stray had already been given a lifetime ban from owning firearms after shooting a boy on the Hemmingwell estate in 2015.
He has more than two-dozen for crimes including serious violence and gang-related incidents.
