Violent Kettering man admits grievous bodily harm after woman glassed at town nightclub

A Kettering man has pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm at a crown court appearance.

Ryan Davies, 19, appeared before Her Honour Judge Rebecca Crane on Thursday (August 13) to answer a single charge of bottling a woman at The Loft nightclub in Dalkeith Place in the town centre on January 19 last year.

She received several cuts to her nose and face.

No details of the case were given at the hearing and Davies, of Melton Road, will appear before the court again in September to be sentenced for his crime.

His criminal history includes a conviction for possession of an offensive weapon when he was just 15 and a robbery, in 2017, when he was just 16. His convictions as a youth could not be publicly reported at the time but they can be revealed today as he is now over 18.
