Northamptonshire Police were deployed to junction 1 of the A14 today (November 15), which is reportedly a location being used for illegal motocross activity, where they seized two vehicles.

Officers were deployed as part of ‘Operation Neutrino’, which sees Northamptonshire Police tackling motorbike nuisance across local communities.

Police Sergeant Lee Flavell said: “ There is a particular site on junction 1 of the A14 which is being used for illegal motocross nuisance. We've hit that today as part of Op Neutrino and three vans hoping to set up were moved on.

“We have seized a further van intending to go on the site for having no insurance and at the time of writing, we have one motorbike seized.”

An eyewitness, who was out walking this morning around the Whitehills pub in Kingsthorpe, reported that she saw three quad bikes ride past her on the A508.

Northamptonshire Police believe that the motorbike they seized could be one of the bikes sighted in Kingsthorpe.

Earlier this weekend (November 14), Northamptonshire Police spotted a suspected sex offender 10 minutes into a bike patrol as part of ‘Operation Neutrino’.
