Two wanted over 'high value' East Northants burglary

Two men are wanted by police after a high-value burglary at a private-owned paddock in East Northants.

Officers are investigating the incident in Nene Way, Polebrook, which took place between between 5.45pm on Monday, June 8, and 7.15am on Tuesday, June 9.

Those behind the burglary gained access to the paddock and stole a number of high-value items including a red Benye Foton tractor, Ifor Williams trailer, Caroni finishing mower, Iseki rotovator, Hitachi 3 tonne excavator with buckets, JCB mini digger buckets, antique French log burner and items of horse tack.

Police have now released a CCTV image of two men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

A police spokesman said: "Officers investigating the incident believe these men may have information which could assist with their enquiries, and are appealing for them or anyone who may recognise them, to get in touch.

"Anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 20000292933. Or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
