Two charged after Wellingborough attempted robbery where men threatened to steal dogs

Two men have been remanded in custody accused of threatening to steal a man's dogs on Wellingborough's Queensway estate.

Daniel John Stray, 24, of Northampton, and Kaine Aaron Snoad, 18, of Northampton, have both been charged with attempted robbery in connection with an incident on June 9, 2021, when two men approached a man in Owen Close before the victim was threatened him with violence, and threatened to steal his dogs.

Snoad has also been charged with an additional offence of possessing a blade in a public place.

Stray has been charged with an additional offence of having a firearm with intent to commit an offence.

Snoad appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 14, and was remanded into custody.

Stray appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on June 24 and was also remanded into custody.

The pair will next appear at Northampton Crown Court on July 28.
