Corby’s neighbourhood policing team took two men into custody after crew members in McDonald’s reported a theft in progress.

The suspects were taken into custody in the Corporation Street area of the town centre early this afternoon (Sunday, June 7).

Officers have been battling against a small number of criminals who they believe are responsible for a large number of bike thefts from the town during the past couple of years.

McDonald’s in the town is currently open for delivery only.
