Drugs squad officers have unearthed two more suspected drugs supply chains within 48 hours of each other at three domestic properties in Northampton.

Hide AdPolice armed with a warrant found the semi-detached house was kitted out with everything needed to cultivate the Class B drug.
They seized a total of 116 plants land arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of producing cannabis.
On Wednesday, more than 60 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, worth around £1,000, were discovered by officers executing two warrants in Broadmead Court, Kingsley.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Hide AdSuperintendent Chris Hillery, of Northamptonshire Police, said: "There is a huge amount of energy and determination among our cops across Northampton at the moment to tackle the issues that are affecting our local communities and bring the people bringing those areas down to justice.
“The majority of people in Northampton are hardworking, decent members of society and they do not deserve to live in fear due to a small minority who think committing crime is acceptable.
“We have really taken the fight to this minority in the past couple of months with some great proactive policing and I look forward to continuing to do so.”
These raids are the latest in the town in the police war on drugs.

Hide AdOfficers from Northamptonshire's serious and organised crime campaign, Operation Viper, swooped on three addresses in Dallington and King's Heath on June 10, making one arrest and seizing mobile phones, notebooks and paperwork including lists of ‘customers’.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested at a drugs farm worth "hundreds of thousands of pounds" in Mapperley Drive, Billing, on June 5.
The cannabis factory was discovered in the property in Mapperley Drive, Billing, by officers executing a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on Friday (June 5).
And last month police released dramatic video of them entering a property in Kingsthorpe as part of dawn swoops on five addresses in the area.
