Three men rob '˜vulnerable' man in busy shopping street in Northamptonshire town

Three men carried out a robbery in a busy shopping street in a Northamptonshire town the middle of the day.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police on the 101 number.

The victim, described as a “vulnerable man” by police, was walking along Abington Street, in Northampton, heading towards Abington Square on Saturday at about 3.15pm, when he was approached by three white men.

One of the men stole a small brown leather bag from his shoulder and all three of them then ran off towards the Market Square.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
