Three men have been given Covid fines after breaching lockdown laws.

The trio ordered a takeaway to a house in Lodge Green Road on the Lloyds estate at about 11pm last night (Wednesday, January 13).

But Special Constables based in the town went to the address and found the men from different households enjoying a beer and their meal.

The men - aged 31, 31 and 28 - were each handed a fine.

Tough Covid laws prevent household mixing to try to halt spiralling infection rates. Corby currently has one of the highest rates in the country and the government is sending a taskforce to the town to try to assess how best to tackle the issue.
