Three arrested after man stabbed multiple times in Irthlingborough

The suspects remain in custody

A man was stabbed multiple times at a house in Irthlingborough last night (Thursday).

The victim, aged in his 20s, was attacked at the property in John Pyel Road at about 8.45pm.

This morning police have confirmed he was taken to hospital but that his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police are investigating.

A spokesman confirmed three people have been arrested and are currently in police custody.

They are two 16-year-old boys, one from Irthlingborough and one from Wellingborough, and a 17-year-old boy from Irthlingborough.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing several police cars and ambulances in the area, with the police helicopter seen hovering over the Pine Trees estate.
