Thrapston police warrant reveals small cannabis factory in joint operation

A man has been arrested after a small cannabis factory was discovered when police visited a house in Thrapston.

In a joint operation police officer from Northamptonshire and Leicestershire Police conducted a warrant in Spinney Close last week.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "Officers conducted a warrant at an address in Spinney Close at about 2.50pm on January 29, 2021 and discovered a small cannabis factory of 18 plants in one of the upstairs rooms.

"A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries."
