The alleged indecent exposures were reported to have happened between 8am on Monday, September 21 and 12.50pm on Tuesday, September 22.

Northamptonshire Police's investigation into the incident found that no offences had occurred and the incidents were not as first reported.

Detective Constable Scott Mackenzie said: "This was a thorough investigation which involved speaking to a number of witnesses as well as the seizure and examination of a quantity of this man’s digital devices.

"As a result, we were able to conclude that this was not a case of indecent exposure and that there was nothing at all on the man’s digital devices that caused us any concern.

"We have informed the parents and teachers at the nearby school as they were rightly concerned about these incidents, and they are satisfied with the conclusion of our investigation.

"Northamptonshire Police takes incidents of this nature very seriously and I hope the diligence that went into this investigation demonstrates that, though thankfully on this occasion it turned out not to be as first reported."
