Thieves steal car after taking keys from Corby house

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a residential burglary in Newark Drive, Corby.

The incident took place between 11pm on Sunday, November 8, and 4.10am on Monday, November 9, when the offender/s gained access to the house and stole a handbag containing a set of car keys.

The keys were then used to steal the occupant’s 2017 red Ford Fiesta ST, which was parked on the road outside the address, next to a bus stop.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times or who may know the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle.
