They're not lovin' it: Driver on their way to fast food restaurant stopped by police...they were over the drug limit and previously banned

A driver who was over the drug-drive limit was stopped by Northants Safer Roads Team in another day of cracking down on motorists.

Pc Dave Lee said the van was stopped today while out on patrol.

He posted a picture of the van on Twitter, adding: "Stopped this van as both the driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts.

"They were on their way to McDonalds but sadly they didn’t quite make it as the driver failed the roadside drug wipe for cannabis.

"The driver only came off a ban for drink-driving two months ago," he said.
