Teenagers arrested after Subaru reported stolen in Burton Latimer burglary stopped by cops

Two teenagers aged 16 and 17 have been arrested after a Subaru car, reported stolen after a Burton Latimer burglary, was stopped by police in a neighbouring county.

The teenagers were arrested today (Wednesday) after police stopped a car in Market Harborough.

Officers intercepted the Subaru Outback in Rockingham Road just before 10am.

About half an hour before the stop, the SUV had been reported stolen during a house burglary in Burton Latimer.

Two boys - one from Kettering, the other from Birmingham - were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Northamptonshire Police said the investigation into the burglary and theft of the vehicle is ongoing.
