A teenager has admitted GBH after a boy was punched and kicked at Desborough's skate park.

The 16-year-old boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, was arrested after the incident at the park off Ironwood Avenue in August last year.

The boy, who was in a group with other youngsters, punched and kicked another boy.

When the victim was on the floor he was also kicked multiple times.

He was taken to Kettering General Hospital with a broken wrist.

This month the attacker admitted GBH at Wellingborough Magistrates' Court. He was referred to Northamptonshire's youth offending team for nine months by magistrates who sentenced him.

He must pay compensation of £100, prosecution costs of £50 and a victim surcharge of £21.
