Teen sentenced for horrific Corby attack shared on social media
An 18-year-old involved in a horrifying assault in Corby has been sentenced for her part in the attack.
A video taken by bystanders of the brutal kicking in Cottingham Road was viewed by thousands on social media. The footage showed a 16-year-old girl lying in the road one evening last July being kicked and stamped-on by other girls.

Hide AdRose Price, of Wareham Green, admitted actual bodily harm following the incident and appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Monday (January 11) to be sentenced.
She was given a 23-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, with the condition that she must have mental health treatment for two years. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £250. No order for costs was made.
A 16-year-old who cannot be named because of her age was sentenced for her part in the incident last November. She was referred to Northamptonshire's youth offending team for nine months and ordered to pay compensation of £50. Magistrates told her she must also pay costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £22.
Thankfully the victim suffered no lasting serious physical injuries.
