Teen arrested after man stabbed in Burton Latimer incident

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man in Burton Latimer yesterday evening (Sunday, September 27).

Police were called to Burton Latimer yesterday at about 7.20pm to reports of an altercation outside an address in Station Road.

The incident continued into Glebe Road and a man in his 30s was stabbed once in the stomach area.

He was taken to hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of grievous bodily harm wounding with intent.

The teenager remains in police custody.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said an investigation is ongoing.
