Police have appealed for a taxi driver who drove a woman to Stephenson Way in Corby two days before she was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

Police believe the woman was taken to a house in Stephenson Way on Sunday, April 12, at about 3pm in a taxi accompanied by two men.

When she got out of the taxi, witnesses report seeing visible injuries on her and the fact she was unsteady on her feet.

She later collapsed inside a property and was taken to hospital with GBH injuries on Tuesday. The house was then taped off while police carried out an investigation.

Two men aged 34 and 39 have been questioned.

Police officers are keen to speak to any taxi drivers in the area of Corby who may have picked up the woman and dropped her off in the area of Stephenson Way.
